Hi dear Waterfallers Jan 21st 2021
I hope you are keeping safe and well in these fast changing times.
Some good news.
The Biblical Foundations Bible Study is being used for the first time at St.Andrews in Horsham.
Through Dropbox we now have an easy method of transferring big files, so complete packages of resources are now available for courses and cards. Just contact us if you want details.
We did a Zoom course in Devon in December, which was a first in a transformed chapel – thank you Tessa and Aubrey.
At last I have roused myself and the workbook of The Tools of Transformation is underway. Watch this space!
THE FUTURE ?????
Archimedes said to move the world you must have a lever and a place to stand. In the Waterfall we have that rock to stand on ….... it is a place in the Father’s presence where we were created to live, linked by the Holy Spirit and love to the Father’s heart, locked into the purposes of God. The lever is Jesus.
So are we moving the world? It does not feel like it does it in this time of the pandemic and lockdown but it is a time to be very aware of what is going on many levels.
On TWFJ there have been signposts given by God that have had a huge impact on our journey. One of these was Jesus continually saying to His disciples “Be aware”. He spent much of His time training His disciples as they travelled to see the dynamics at work in themselves, in the situation and in the bigger picture of God’s story.
On the journey we have learned to be aware of what is going on within us and around us.
The biggie, of course, is who are we serving - is it God or is it our own agenda that controls us? This is why having a place to choose to stand has been all important. I choose to stand in the WF in the presence of the Father I will let Him lead and I will follow. I am aligned to God’s agenda. Learning to know when we step out of the WF and take back control has been one of the most important lessons for us.
Knowing inside the WF we are connected spirit to Spirit to the Father’s heart and like Jesus can trust what comes into our head and heart. Jesus did what the Father gave Him to do and He said the words the Father gave Him to say, He flowed in the Holy Spirit’s timing and we can trust Him to do the same for us.
In TWFJ and its insights into the truth of who God is we have been given a place to stand and a lever. We know the Father’s heart of love for His children and through all our journey’s how to aspire to live and share authentic, Holy Spirit led, Jesus filled lives.
Where are we now in Jan 2012 with this ministry? We have what the world needs so desperately and being on the back burner is hard for many of us who used to be performance driven. Shouldn’t we be swinging on the lever? Doing something, anything to get the message out? Well no. We are still waiting for God to show us what and where and when. We can trust He will :-
Isaiah 48 :3 I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
v6 - 7 “From now on I will tell you of new things,
of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago;
you have not heard of them before today.”
v.17. This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.”
It is a time of waiting but not of emptiness. God is moving in the lives of His people through these strange times. It is evident in everyday conversations. The churches are seeking God’s guidance on what might be ahead rather than going back to habit and tradition. I have always known TWFJ is an expression of the Father’s heart. How does God want to use it as we go forward?
May I ask you to be sensitive to this cry. Aware! If you hear from God, a piece of the jigsaw that God will share, please pass it on. This ministry only exists because many strands have come together from many people. It feels as though TWFJ will have a big role in delivering the Father’s heart to the world but how and when. We wait to see.
Many people use TWFJ in different ways in their ministries? Have you something to encourage and bless us with? Do share if you have.
Meanwhile may you be richly blessed and may God’s peace be yours.
Angie
